I am someone who is constantly preaching about "positive thoughts", however as simple as thinking positively sounds, there's so much more to it.
As we all know, sometimes circumstances aren't always ideal and it can make it difficult to focus on the positive, but it's important to understand that when you find something bothering you, It's only bothering you because you are allowing it to. Tv, Social Media, friends, family, etc.. are all things that have influenced the way that we think one way or another.
Most people don't understand that they have control over what something means to them because the meaning to something has already been planted in their mind by external things like social media and Tv.
When something that isn't ideal comes up, ask yourself "What does this mean?" and give it a different meaning. Try to have a very large perspective! Don't just react to life. Don't let circumstances control you! You are in control and only you can decide what something means to you.
